Elgin beat Fort William in close finish

Elgin squeezed home in the game of the day in week 4 of the NoSCA Senior league sponsored by Black Dog Financial Services. Batting first at Cooper Park Elgin made 152 all out but in reply Fort William came up 19 runs short, being bowled out for 133 with 9 balls remaining.

Elsewhere Forres comfortably beat Highland by 8 wickets and Fochabers proved too strong for Nairn, beating them by 91 runs with Milland Mheta returning from injury to lead the way with the bat. Ross County were forced to concede their game at Buckie and remain rooted at the foot of the table.
