Cup semi-finals decided

The outcome of all four quarter finals of the NoSCA Senior Cup (sonsored by Blake Geoservices) went to form on Saturday when Buckie (by 34 runs), Fochabers (54 runs), Forres (9 wkts) and Highland (8 wkts) all recorded comfortable victories.

The highest scoring encounter was at Fort William where Fochabers amassed 260 for 3 off their 30 overs, thanks largely to Adi Mehta (112) and Adam Stockwell (80), which proved to be more than enough despite a spirited reply from Fort William in making 206 for 9.

The semi-finals will take place on Saturday 28th June with Buckie hosting Forres and Highland at home to Fochabers. The Plate semi-finals are scheduled for the same day, when Ross County are at home to Nairn and Elgin play host to Fort William.
