Date confirmed for NoSCA Constitution Reform Workshop

Posted on

Following on from discussions throughout the last couple of seasons about the NoSCA Constitution and Playing Conditions, the NoSCA Executive would like to invite you to a workshop being held to discuss reform with the intention of having proposals ready to put before the NoSCA AGM in February 2016.

The workshop will be held on Sunday 1st November 2015, 11am at the Cricket Pavilion, Nairn Links.

Because of the timing of the event, a soup and sandwich lunch will be available.

The meeting will have an agenda with proposals for revision and reform of the Constitution and Playing Conditions (both Senior and Reserve).

The Executive would like to invite as many interested parties as possible, including representatives from all clubs, players, Umpires and Patrons and encourage all clubs to send at least one or two members to take part in this process.

It is not intended that formal votes will be taken on the day but a show of hands may be necessary to record opinions if there are points of contention.

This is an opportunity to sort out anomalies and to make revisions which suit the way we currently play cricket and to set the tone for how we wish to proceed for the future.

If you have any questions or suggestions regarding this event please contact Jerry Bishop on (07766) 528615.
